The first of a special Uncut Legends issues opens with Bob Dylan. Who better to be # 1 in the series? Click if you would like to view the scan of the cover (if it looks small, click anywhere on the image to enlarge it). This is not part of their regular October 2003 issue, it's a seperate publication and even in NYC, it was somewhat difficult to find a copy. You can order it online at Uncut's subscription page.

RollingStone.com features a special retrospective of articles about Dylan, from 1969-2001 issues of Rolling Stone, plus a contest with a grand prize of a trip for 2 to see Dylan in London plus a box set of 15 remastered Dylan albums. Definitely worth a visit: Decades of Dylan.

Dylan's moving statement on the death of the great Johnny Cash is on the official Bob Dylan site: Bob Dylan's Statement on Johnny Cash.

Mojo magazine's October 2003 issue has an article about "Dylan on SACD" (the remastered albums). The article isn't on their site, but you can order the magazine at their site Mojo4Music.com.

For descriptions and links to the reviews in local newspapers, see rec.music.dylan. Use the "Edit: Search Messages" function to look for specific articles. You can search rec.music.dylan at deja.com by typing in "rec.music.dylan" as the search term, then doing a subsearch when rec.music.dylan has loaded.

For Dylan media appearances prior to June 1999, see 20 Lbs. of Headlines, a massive list of articles about Dylan. Not all of them are linked to the actual article, but there is still hours of reading to be found here.

The best source for interviews is News and Interviews at Boblinks. Magazine and newspaper articles can also be found here.
