Most of this month's news items were anticipatory articles about the upcoming release of Love and Theft, Dylan's 43rd album.

The official press release for the wires ran on Yahoo! news: Columbia to Release Bob Dylan's Love and Theft

As is often the case, Edna Gunderson of USA Today interviewed Dylan about his next album, in this case, the soon-to-be-released Love and Theft. The article is called " 'Love' takes Dylan in different direction The veteran is back with new album, new energy" and it appeared in the July 16th issue of USA Today. Since it's archived, I can't link to it because you have to pay $1.50 to read the whole article online. Go to USAtoday.com and click on Archives to search for it.

The Rolling Stone had a brief piece about the upcoming Love and Theft in the July 16th issue: Dylan's "Love" Due in Sept.
