Most of this month's news items were anticipatory articles about the upcoming release of Love and Theft, Dylan's 43rd album.

As is often the case, Edna Gunderson of USA Today interviewed Dylan about his next album, in this case, the soon-to-be-released Love and Theft. The article is called " 'Love' takes Dylan in different direction The veteran is back with new album, new energy" and it appeared in the July 16th issue of USA Today. The Rolling Stone had a brief piece about the upcoming Love and Theft in the July 16th issue: Dylan's "Love" Due in Sept.
