A cropped version of this Richard Avedon photo and two other early 60s photos are part of a collage illustrating an article in the March 200 George.

Dylan's name appeared six seperate times in "50 Greatest Moments in American Rock and Pop", an article in the March 2000 issue of George: #2, performs at the March on Washington in August 1963, #25 composes "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall" during the Cuban missile crisis in October 1962, and mentioned in # 4 performs at Live Aid, #27 performs at the Concert for Bangladesh, rock's first fundraiser, and in #32 sings on "We Are the World".
Three photos of dylan in the early Sixties are part of a photo collage which illustrates the article.

A brief article titled "Bob Dylan Sets Dates for West Coast Tour" appeared in the March 9th Headlines section of the MTV site.

"Dylan In The Movies: An Interview With D.A. Pennebaker", is featured in the recent archives of the Spin site.

"All Along the Ivory Tower" a recent article in the e-zine Salon, is about the Bob Dylan symposium at Stanford's Kresge Auditorium.

A search reveals there are numerous articles about Dylan at the Salon site.

Whose Bob Dylan?, an article by Portland writer David Vest, is an excellent perspective of the Dylan mystique.
