Uncut's Bob Dylan birthday special issue, their fifth, went onsale May 2. It's not a regular monthly issue, but a special supplementary issue commerating Dylan's birthday. Of course I bought it, but somehow lost it during my recent move. If I find it, I will scan it for this page, but meanwhile, read about the issue's "40 greatest Dylan songs" list at ananova.com:
'Dylan's greatest track' - magazine poll
Since the May news was posted so late, Hibbing's Dylan birthday celebration, "Dylan Days 2002," has come and gone, but check out the details for next year's Dylan Days.

It doesn't seem to be on par with other movies for which Dylan has written songs, but the new Dylan song "Waitin' for You" was written for The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Read the article at Billboard:
Dylan, Hill, Gray, Krauss Get Their 'Ya-Yas' Out or listen to the sound clip at BarnesandNoble.com.

Fascinating tale of a bootlegger, ejected from the Brighton Centre show, who aims to videotape Dylan concerts for posterity. Dylan's views on bootleggers notwithstanding, in past tours, the pirates have been offered lifts on the coaches transporting Dylan's musicians and road crew.:
Bringing it all back home
Not really a review, but this article is about Dylan playing Canadian cities where big-name musicians rarely tour. ("It takes a legend like Bob Dylan to show today's jerk-off asshole artists how it is really done."): Dylan Blows Into Canada With the Force of a Hurricane
Reviews of the UK shows:
From The Independent:

Like many newspapers, The Telegraph is unable to resist alluding to LARS in the headline:Like a Rolling Stone, Dylan still gathers no moss
From The Guardian, which awards him four starts amidst the usual complaints of unintellible lyrics and ragged voice: http://www.guardian.co.uk/Archive/Article/0,4273,4407894,00.html
Bob Dylan 4 stars
London Arena review of sorts from This Is London, musing upon Dylan's frequent touring. The article describes Dylan playing RDW # 12 & 35 "almost recognisably.":
Dylan the legend keeps rolling on
London Arena review with more musing on Dylan's frequent touring. Like many articles on this topic, The Observer's writer maintains that "even he doesn't seem to know why he's doing it." This is nonsense; Dylan has said in interviews that live performances matter more to him that studio sessions, and that he enjoys touring. So he certainly does know why he's doing it: Bob just keeps on keeping on
Rolling Stone reports on Dylan's upcoming appearance at the Janus Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Weekend Festival, August 30th to September 2nd in Aspen, Colorado:
Dylan, Lesh Join Colorado Fest
