From the New Yorker, a story about Michael Perlin, a New York Law School professor who specializes in disability law, who has for the last six years named almost all of his scholarly articles after Dylan lyrics: Ladder of the law: Another Side of Bob Dylan

The New York Times compiled an amusing list of Dylan mis-quotes from various politicians: Gotta Serve Somebody

Dylan was inaugurated into the Nashville Songwriters' Hall of Fame on November 3: Bob Dylan, Shel Silverstein, Dean Dillon to Hall of Fame

Miami Herald reports Dylan may be shopping around for a home in South Florida. Please don't let it be Miami, Bob, my least favorite city. I've been there many times, and I have many friends from Florida, but the women dress sleazier than Eleventh Avenue hookers, the men shout rude comments at every woman on the street, the food is digusting and overpriced and way too ethnic. While the weather's beautiful and the ocean's lovely to behold, everything else about it makes me cringe. I call it the anti-New York: Bob Dylan may be seeking local abode

Both the New York Daily News and the New York Post panned Dylan's Madison Square Garden concert. The links to their reviews have expired, but you're not missing much, unless you are the type to pay heed to Arts coverate in these two newspapers (which is hardly noteworthy). Here's a scan of the New York Post review, and here's the other MSG reviews:

Madison Square Garden review from the New York Times: Dylan's After-Hours Side

Something about covering Dylan brings out the snob in journalists (probably not that difficult). Here New York Press' Aimee Plumley covers the tired old ground of how the new Dylan fans suck, how they wouldn't recognize Dylan if he fell on them, blah, blah. I hate this attitude. So what if someone was turned onto Dylan by some crappy new band like INXS or if they just discovered Dylan last year? I hate this attitude thatn some Dylan fans aren't as worthy of their tickets as others, but if you want to read about it, here you go: Bob & the Bobsters

Washington Post's Patriot Center review: Rollin' Down Highway 61: Bob Dylan Rocks On

Unsurprisingly dour Patriot Center review from National Review: There's Always Next Time

It's funny that Dylan's elocution has been criticized consistently throughout his career. Kent State review from Cleveland Plain Dealer: Challenging singer still mumbling in the wind

Rolling Thunder Revue retrospective from rogovoy.com: When Dylan rolled with thunder

Washington Post reviews Live 1975: Bob Dylan"Bootleg Series Vol. 5: Bob Dylan Live 1975 - The Rolling Thunder Revue"
