[Hotel Earle, now the Washington Square Hotel] The former Hotel Earle
now The Washington Square Hotel

Waverly Place and McDougal Street

In the early Sixties, Dylan lived here for a short while, in room 305. By all accounts the hotel was something of a flophouse; nowadays it is called the Washington Square Hotel and is the only reasonably priced hotel in the West Village. Plan ahead if you wish to stay there, as they are booked months in advance.
